It all started in 1983 when Ps Theo speared headed the beginning of what has now become one of the largest and fastest growing Bible Schools in the world. Ps Theo appointed Ps Bob Daniels as the first Dean of the Bible School, where a hand full of students would come to study five times a week for a year, under their guidance. Ps Smiley Papenfus was then passed the baton and began the Layman School of Training. Although the curriculum was kept, slight changes were made. This avid golf player introduced a golf course model into Bible School by substituting courses for "holes". Students were given a map of a golf course which would direct them from course to course. Live courses as well as tape correspondence courses were introduced.

Another change came along when Ps Smiley handed the baton over to Ps Rodney, with this meant another change to the Bible School. Holes were now Modules and much to the students delight the dreaded 14 week Evangelism course had now become two separate soul winning courses.

With the coming of the new millennium, meant yet another improvement to the Bible School with Ps Rodney handing the baton over to Ps André Wilmans. A young aspiring man, now given this great task of taking Bible School to the next level, willing and perhaps far from able he went ahead. Introducing a curriculum that would earn students preliminary accreditation with SAQA, Christian Life Training (CLT) began. Now students had an even broader selection of how they would study, as CFCI Bible School offered two curriculums - Bible School Modular Training and Christian Life Training.

Yet a deep desire burned in Ps Theo to see more "sons" and "daughters" go out from CFCI, teaching the truths imparted to them by the father. And so the birth of a New Bible School incorporating School of Timothy's began. Through inspiration and wisdom given by Ps Theo, Ps André put together a team that jointly under his supervision and guidance would see the dream realized. And so with January 2007 the dream was made a reality, with the first Bible School incorporating School of Timothy's doors opening with over 500 students joining. All these years of combined experience with the leading of the Holy Spirit has produced a Bible School that's curriculum is Spirit birthed and God inspired. We have no doubt that those willing and able to introduce this curriculum into their local church setting will experience the same revival we have.

God richly bless you,
CFCI Bible School
